Okay people, so, for those of you who aren't awear, I am in the production of CATS thats is showing at the Derwent Entertainment Center (DEC) from 17 - 21st October. Which starts tomorrow (the 17th :P). I am part of the 191 strong choir singing in alot of the numbers in the show. It is a fantastic show and so exiting to be part of. I got such a buzz at the dress run today. It was electric! I'M SO EXITIED ABOUT TOMORROW!!!!!! OPENING SHOW! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Anyways, alot of you peopels that I have talked to and asked if you want to come and see the show have said that you would like to come but can't afford it.

Well...

There are going to be some cheaper tickets avalible. For LESS THAN HALF PRICE. Yep. From tomorrow morning there will be A Reserve seats on sale for $35.15 for OPENING NIGHT ONLY (tomorrow the 17th). This is the only night that this offer is avalible for. All other nights the tickets are at normal rates (though I think the student rates are pretty reasonable). There will be a big add in tomorrows Mercury about it. So if you are interested, tomorrow would be a good time to ring up and book some tickets for the evening show.

It is going to be amazing. I don't want to say to much incase I ruin it for anyone who is going to go and see it but I really think it is going to blow alot of people away. The sounds and the acting and the costumes and well, everything are just...wow. (Yep, I think it deserves big print).

Come to CATS.

I went to Stonhenge today. IT WAS AWSOME!!!!! It was really amazing to see something that you are consatntly reading/hearing about in read life. Even though you don't get anywhere near the stones it was still worth it. Am so tired now tho, have spent nearly the whole day on the move but was so worth it. Who would think that sitting on buses and trains could be tiring? Before this trip I didn't think it was but now I know different. And I got some cool photos which I will post soon as I get the chance to download my photos :D I can't at the moment on account of that I am in an interent cafe, lol.

Not long now till I'm back home :( But in a way I am glad cause that means I will see my family and all of you again. I've missed you all SSSSSSOOOOOOOOooooooooo much! This time next week I will be back in Sydney...that's a scary thought...this time next week I will back on the other side of the world. Now that sounds even weirder. Defiently. I think it's cause I have been away for so long, I've gotten used to it. When I introduce myself it's "Hi, my names Skye, I'm from Australia..." you know what I mean?

Better be off, so tired....my eyes are hurting, hehehe. Need to get some proper sleep.

Hope you're all well.

Missing you!!!!!

It's been way too long.....

'Ello, 'Ello.

Well. It has been a while since I last made an entry. I hadn't realized how long it had been till I looked back at my 'Recent Entries' and realized that they weren't too recent :P

Anyways...what have I been doing? I hear you ask. Well...I have been to SCOTLAND and WENT ON A 3 DAY COACH TOUR OF THE HIGHLANDS INCLUDING THE ISLE OF SKYE!!!!!!! (Thats's the place I'm named after, if you didn't guess :P)

It was fucking fantastic!!!!!! I had the best time EVER. Probably the most fun I've had on my entire trip so far. And that is no exagerating. It was AWSOME!!!!!!!! I met some really, really, really, cool and nice people both in Edinburgh and on the Coach tour that I did. And the places I saw....god it was just beautiful, both in Edinburgh and the Highlands. Especially the highlands. I still can't get over it. I would do it all over again if I could.

Again and again and again.

And again.

And again.

And Again.

*calms down*

Right, now to tell you about it.

In total I spent 6 nights in Edinburgh. I went on a pub crawl (twice), I went to the castel, climbed the Sir Walter Scott Monument, did an open bus tour with pre recoreded comantarty and really corny music, explored the 'hidden city' of Edinburgh (part of the city that was built over in 1753 when they built the royal exchange and was completly preserved), walked around Endinburgh in the rain (always fun), did a ghost tour and saw torture instruments. Met some really nice Australian's at the Hostel and even went round the Castel with one of them and the person she was travelling with. Got come emails as well :D

After spending 6 nights there I went on a 3 Day Coach Tour of the scotlish highlands with a firm called HAGGiS Tours and it was FUCKING FANTASTIC. Seriously, one of the best decisions I've made (and it wasn't planned either) just saw the brouchure at the reception, saw they had a 3 day on for 89 pounds booked it (after some sorting out of finances :P) It was truly, AMAZING. We went to the Wallace monument, saw a truly horrendus statue that someone had made inspried by the film Braveheart (which, by the way is historically a bunch of crap, though apparently still inspiring), saw the sexiest man in Scotland - Hamish the Scottish Cooe (yes that's right Cooe, not Cow), travelled through Glenco, tasted free whisky, learnt how the Scottish highlanders lived and on of the guys on our tour, Blake, got to be dressed as a REAL man for the first time in his life (but he got to keep his boxers on :D) and I, Skye, go to dress as a highalnd lady and therefore was his wife :D I've got pictures to show you of it too, hehehe. Apparently the bigger the bum the sexier a womman was considered to be. So, I looked HUGE and Blake was literally wearing a skirt until the person showing us how the clothes were worn fixed it like it was meant to be. But don't worry, we both did it Volentarily.

We all stayed at a place called Fort Augustus, right on the shores of Loch Ness, the most famous body of water IN THE WORLD.

We also did a boat tour of Loch Ness which had sonar and the guy who gave us a talk was incredable. Truly, some of the stuff coming out of his mouth was almost beyond belief. I have to be quick cause my session on this computer is about it run out so I have to be quick.

Our second day we went to Elean Donan Castel and the Isle of Skye (the place that I am named after) and that was just BEAUTIFUL. It was a FANTASTIC day (best weather all the tour I think) and we did a ' wee walk' on Skye and had lunch by a stream and small water falls.

I would tell you more but I am terrified that I will get carried away and loose this whole entry if I'm not careful so I'm going to say 'good bye' for now and tell you all about the rest of the tour another time.

Missing you all like crazy,

Love,
Skye

HELLLLOOOOOOOOOO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Well, as you may have gathered from the heading of this post, I have arrived in England. Some of you might not have even been awear that I had left but there you go, now you know.

I have been here for just over a week and 1/2 and am currently in Doncaster staying with my grandparents. Doncatser is in South Yorkshire, about 2 hours train ride from Manchester or London depending on what direction you are travelling from .

It has been quite fun so far but frankly I have been a little lonely cause I don't know any people my own age and even thought I love my grandparents to bits I am feeling the generation gap at the moment...looking back it probably would have been better to try and travel with someone my own age....but I didn't. So I am just going to try and connect with people my own age when ever I have the chance. So of course this means that I am missing you all terribly!!!!! And I PROMISE I will send out postcards soon.

By the way, if any of you know of any internet sites where young people travelling can go and log onto and chat or anything like then please tell me, I am always open to suggestions!

I have alot of fun last night, I went to the local scout group with Martin (the son of my dad's best friend Steve). It was great to be around people my own age!!!!!! and they were all really friendly which was good too. Two of them in particular - Jono and Big Ian (he was callled that due to his massive height - he must have been over 6 ft...I felt REALLY small beside him).

I hope that you are all well and that everything is going good with Uni, work or what ever else you may be pursing in your lives at the moment . I promise to keep reading and updating when ever I can, I am going up to the Lake District on Tuesday for 6 days to stay in a place called Millom with some friends of my Dad's and I don't know if I will have access to a computer but if I do I will be sure to update while I am there. It's really beautiful country so I will be sure to post some photos when I take some. On the next post I will also post come photos of Doncaster (the place I am in at the moment)

If you want to get in conact with me (and I would be delighted to hear from you) my email is: musical.skye@gmail.com

If you want to write to me the "traditional" way I will put my Grandparents address in my next post. I would put it in this one now but I can never remember the post code for their area.

Love,
Skye
